Does anyone know where I can get an authoritative

and definitive statement regarding the status of the DS procedure, experimental or otherwise? If so please let me know., I have written ASBS via email and they are not able to do so. Any ideas? My insurance Co says it is experimental and I think that is hog wash. It has been done for over 10 years and has documented research. How can it still be experimental? New question do any of you scientific folks now what standards are needed for a procedure to be non experimental treatment or where I can go for this answer?
