Have any had surgery paid for by workers comp?

I have Kaiser as my Ins. Provider, but I have injuried by back by falling at work and now Im on workers comp. I have had doctors tell me that I have a bulging disc in by lower back and by me being overweight That this puts strain on by back,but I never had a back ache untill I fell at work and now I'm in constant pain.
