Anyone know if BC/BS of TN- PPO has approved BPD/DS?

Hi all! I have been researching WLS for a couple of months now and just about decided that RNY was the way for me to go. I learned of a doctor who does the RNY and DS lap so I went for consultation with him yesterday. BTW, his name is Dr. Dennis Smith in Marietta, GA (I REALLY liked him!) Anyway, I am really impressed with the BPD/DS, and Dr. Smith said that it would be great for me. I have heard that BC/BS of TN-PPO has about a 90% approval rate for my area. Does anyone know if that is strictly for the RNY or does it include the DS? I had Dr. Smith send in the LOMN for the DS, but am scared it will get turned down. He said he can always resubmit for the RNY, but that will put me a month or so behind. Any info anyone??
