What is the difference between RNY

The surgeon I will be sent to will be Dr Michael Wood. The information I've received to date indicates that I will havea Woods-Sappala Micro Pouch, later referred to as a Roux-En-Y Exclusion. What is the difference between this and the Roux-En-Y "Bypass"? What will the post op and permanent differences be?
