What do you tell people?

Hello again! Now that I have decided to have the WLS, I am wondering how or if you tell people about it. Obviously I will tell my friends and family but I am specifically wondering about people like coworkers and neighbors. I think I would feel embarrassed and uncomfortable to talk about it. My main concern is work...I need to ask for the time off but don't really want to let them know it is for voluntary surgery. Any suggestions?? Thanks, Candace
