Has this happened to anyone else? Medicarelimited plastic coverage

Unfortunately due to policy at the hospital all Medicare patients wanting to have cosemetic procedures such as lipo, mons lift, thigh lift, facial procedures, breast lift or upper arms must pay upfront. I was not told this until 4:45 Friday with my surgery on Monday for a complete body lift. Now the surgery will be only a pannus removal because that is all the surgeons office feels that Medicare will pay for. So very disappointed. Others on this site have used this surgeon and hospital and given rave reviews of both, I pray that no one else goes thru this disappointment after 4 months of waiting, 3 pre-op appts and many pre-op test to be informed of this the day before the day before to bring cash only for the hospital part.
