option of using a nickname

This site is quie awesome. I can spend hours here. The information at my fingertips is phenominal. I like that all bases are covered, from peers to surgeons. The creators of this site have made a valuable tool for those of out here who are floundering around trying to get the right answers and guildance along the way. It is a must and everyone who is considering surgery should have the opportunity to come here first. The ONLY thing is that I wish I could have an option of adding a nickname for public viewing and leave my full name confidential. If there was just a place to assign a nic once we have created our account with the proper info. Due to the sensitive nature of dealing with obesity, we need this anonymity available. Maybe I missed something while signing up?
