ACHALASIA: anyone have this?

I have recently been diagnosed with achalasia. In essence, my esophagus does not work. I have trouble swallowing. The weird thing is, my lower esophageal sphincter is wide open, whereas usually it is very tight with most achalasia patients. Therefore, I have bad acid reflux which has not been resolved in spite of medications and even a revision RNY.
