Long-term effects of dumping
I wondered about the long-term affects of dumping. If dumping is caused by a rise in blood sugar due to food dumping out too quickly into the bowels, it seems like this might casue the same long-term damage as diabetes. In both cases, you're having really high blood sugar and blood sugar swings (unless I'm interpreting this all wrong). I have been concerned about this because as I am further out, I find I've been widening my food choices and see that I dump from obviously sugar things, but also what seem to be low sugar things (like fats). I try not to repeat these mistakes, of course, but worry what I might be doing to myself in the long-term. Any thoughts would be appreciated.
