What types of food should I pack for a 18hr road trip

In a week and half I will be leaving for a road trip to Bradenton Fl. a 18hr trip with one night stay over. I am a 4week post-op. I need ideas for restraunts and would like to pack some food to with me. I will be staying with friends for two weeks. My mother is also going with me. This trip will be ladies only, first trip in 25yrs without my husband. Well wish me luck. Thank you
