Are oral anti-fungals dangerous for post-ops?

I know a liver test must be done before you are prescribed Lotrimin, but does the medicine acutally damage your liver? And does having this surgery increase the risks of the medicine to your liver? I am curious because I am tried of looking at my ugly toenails. Any help is appreciated!
