Will any new post-ops tell me how much weight you may be losing?

I am now 5 days post-op and feeling very bloated and heavy !!! The scale shows no weight loss- in fact, it shows a gain of 4 pounds - I have rationalized that it is due to the IV fluids running until day of discharge at 125 cc/hr - I keep seeing some postings that say they have lost 10 # or more -- is this true-- FYI - I was considered a "lightweight" --- BMI is 42.9. Thanks for your responses in advance!!!
