Has anyone ate canned corned beef hash post-op?

I'm preparing for surgery (March 14, 2003). I've been pureeing foods for the first 0-2 months post-op. One of the things the dietician suggests eating is canned corned beef hash.Do you have to puree it or eat it the way it is?
