What are qualifications for Dr. approval for teenager with BMI of 42?

I am a female teenager with a BMI of 42. I have talked to my parents about surgery options for obesity. They have encouraged me to research (as they will) on my own. I'm just wondering if there is a chance a doctor would perform this surgery on me.
