Adjustable Lap Banding,Four years later, just not working.

Is anyone else out there having the same problem. During my first 9 months I lost almost 100 pounds, but had complications when the stitching slipped and Dr. had to go back in and stich up back side of stomach. I have not been able to get back into weight loss mode again and in fact have gained back 75 pounds. Even with exercise and diet, I just can't get there. I've had numerous adjustments, but Dr. says he has me as tight as he can get me, yet at times I can eat a full meal; sometimes not. Is there anyone doing any further studies? My Dr. is more concerned about his study results than he is with my health.
