Did anyone lose their appetite weeks before surgery?

I am scheduled for open rny on 9-26-2002 and I don't know if it's just a bad case of nerves or the oppressive summer heat but I have lost all interest in eating. Very little that I've always loved tastes good to me now. While I don't want to put on alot of weight before surgery I do want to enjoy the foods that I won't be seeing much of post-surg. Is this normal and did anyone else experience this? Thanks. Kelley
