Anyone recently had the Lapband in CA? Did insurance pay?

I am seriously researching the Lapband procedure and am looking for a surgeon in CA (I live on the central coast). If you have had this procedure, please email me. Also, did insurance pay? Have you been happy with your results? How often do you need to have the band adjusted? Thanks in advance for your help!
