If you have had an AGB or Lap band in Mexico, can you please share your experience?

I'm a self-pay and I have heard some very good things about the doctors in Mexico (I'm in Southeast Texas) doing the adjustable band laproscopically. The price is about half that of doing the surgery locally. So that is a factor in my decision but I want to make sure these are good doctors and facilities. Please let me know how your experience was.
