If a person overeats and fills the pouch, does it back up into the esphogas?
If this happens how does one overfill the pouch? Also when the connection is made from the pouch into the intestine (the stoma) is the stoma the same size in diameter as the intestine? Is the intestine narrowed down to make a small stoma or is it the same size as before when the intestime connected to the old stomach? My surgeon does not use a band or anything as far as I know to make the intestine smaller in diameter. If that is the case, won't the pouch empty quickly? This is for the rny surgery.
