Since yesterday at noon, I have thrown up all my food. Is this a bad sign?

I was really nauseated yesterday, but very thirsty. I waited until about noon to take my pills. (I have lupus and several other health concerns) and I kept the pills down, but I've thrown up everything else. It is sometimes 'foamy' and thick, clear mucus. I don't know if I should worry, or just go back to clear liquids. I am 7 weeks post-op. Help!
