Did any one else have to have scar tissue removed?

I am wondering if I will need to have scar tissue removed. My incision scar has three big knots of scar tissue under the skin. It feels like there are ping pong balls just under the skin. They also hurt somewhat. I plan on a abdominoplasty in June and if it has to be worked on I guess they could do it then. Does anyone else have these knots, my surgeon said they are not hernias.
