Does anybody know what will effectively remove the residue from surgical tape

left on the body? I had an EKG monitor, using 10 round diskette tape, plus tape from the pic put into my jugular vein, plus all the tape left after removing the dressing of the incision. Any helpful hints will be appreciated.
