Does saliva fill up the pouch?

I am currently pre-op and have been "practicing" chewing food to a mushy consistency. What I have noticed is that, in doing this, I produce and swallow a lot of saliva. I am wondering if, when I am post-op, this saliva will fill up the pouch and make me feel full when I haven't actually filled the pouch with food? Thanks!
