Should I be Worried?

I was approved by my surgeon(Dr.LaPort,Fountain Valley,CA) just about a month ago. I had brought in four years worth of diet and medical history from my PCP. I have quite a few co-morbidities that include, asthma, GERD, High triglycerides, Hypthyroidsim, High blood pressure..etc. I called the office the other day and they hadn't heard from the ins. co. at all. I have read other posts that this particular carrier usually approves quickly. Should I be worried yet? I don't know if I should start makeing calls myself, or wait to hear from the Dr's office who have experience in handling these things. It took me two years to finally decide to do this, I would hate for this to happen now. Any suggestions or advice out there?
