how do you cope with anxiety of the wait for ins.approval

Now that I have made my decision to have the surgery I find myself very anxious,frustrated,excited,scared and wondering if I am making the right decision. I am really having problems with my nerves I am very edgy and I have no patience and all these symptoms have appearred after my decision to proceed with approval. Please give me advice on how you passed time between ins. approval and surgery
