Where does the anchor incision end?

I have a consult with a PS next month and am trying to get my info together. I have been hearing about an anchor incision a lot lately. I was wondering if that means that you are cut from hip to hip and then up to the breast bone, or are you cut up to the belly button. I have a lot ot excess skin and want to get an idea of what I am in for. My inner thighs also look like the elphant lady, lots of folds!!!! I keep hearing about the thigh lift, but I think I will need more that just the panty line cut. Has anyone been cut going down the thigh also? Any info or pictures would be GREAT!!! Thanks - Val
