My incision is finally healed but, now it is hard and sore at the bottom, why?

Hi all! I have finally healed after 5 months of drainage from my incision. My question is it is getting kinda hard and swollen around the area that has just healed up over the past two weeks. Why? Has anyone experienced this? It is a little sore too. Thanks!
