Does anyone know if having an Epidural during surgery has long lasting effects?

I had my Open RNY on 8/7/02 and had an Epidural. My question is a little personal, but... Ever since surgery it takes FOREVER for me to arrive at orgasm. It does NOT even feel the same, very deadened. And once I DO have it, it is like this little tiny, 2 second long one that doesn't even feel good. Could this be a longlasting effect of the epidural? I mean, I know it deadens that area.. I don't know what else to think but it is becoming VERY frustrating for me. Now I don't even FEEL like doing anything because it doesn't feel good anymore.. :(
