Why are we not allowed to eat peanuts post op

Why is it so bad to not eat peanuts post-op, In moderation I've been eating a little here and a little there, I know the fat content is up there, but I'm barley able to eat anything of substance, ( get full too fast) then the next thing you know I've barley gotten my protein in for the day, I'm addicted to cashews, 1 onz services, (which is more then plenty) 160 calories, 14 grams of fat, 5 protiens. (other then the fat) these little small jewels, realy help me when I'm in a nitch and am hungry. I think in an average day I eat less then 30-40 grams of fat per day. Is there any other reason that I shouldn't be eating these post op ?? 2 months 1 day post op and down 56 pounds.
