Need some advice on this ringing in my right ear......

It happened when I was leaving the hospital on the day I was released from my lap rny. I'm 6 months post op down 79#. I have weaned myself off of b.p., cholesterol and arthritis meds. (w/help of doctor). My b.p. is normal now. So why is there this ringing in my right ear sometimes, more like my heartbeat is in my right ear? Sounds strange, I know, but it's happening. Anyone else experience this? I'm so curious.
