My post op diet includes Slimfast, has anyone else had this in their post op diet?

In the paperwork my dietitian gave me for my post op diet, I am instructed to go on 2 weeks of clear liquids, then 2 to 4 weeks of Slimfast, at four cans a day. I was surprised at this and mentioned it to the dietitian, due to the high sugar content. She said she was surprised when she saw it too, but that maybe it did not cause dumping because of drinking it in such small quantities the first few weeks. Any thought on this? I would appreciate any feedback.
