Has anyone experienced a weight gain with Zoloft and Effexor XR?

I am 11 months post op and have been on Zoloft and Effexor XR for 3 and half months, all of a sudden I am insatiable. I drink no less than a gallon of water a day because of the extreme thirst/dry mouth symptom from the meds. I just can't seem to stay full, I'm ALWAYS hungry. I've gained 9 pounds in the last month and prior to that was on a 4 month plateau. Is it the meds making me hungry, or is it maybe water weight as a side effect of the meds? Please help me solve this dilemma, I feel like my window of opportunity has closed. Any suggestions?
