Ice cold vs. room temperature

I prefer to drink my water at room temperature because if I drink it C-O-L-D, that's what it does to me...it makes me cold all day. I know there's an advantage to drinking it colder because it burns more calories cold as your body has to warm it first or something like that. But does it really matter as long as I'm getting the water in? Maybe in the summertime cold is okay, but I can't do it now. Silly question for my family.
