Has anyone heard of Dr. Rout at Shands in Gainesville, FL?

I am scheduled for surgery on January 14th of 2002. I have made an appointment for my father to have his initial consultation with Dr. Rout from Shands at the University of Florida. I have not seen anything about him on this site. Additionally, my father is anywhere from 550 - 600+ pounds. He is 55 years old and I am concerned that he may be too large/too high risk for surgery. I also know he has cellulitis and phlebitis in his legs, which would make him high risk for blood clots. Does anyone have info that may help me?
