I have noticed when I take pain killers like Aleve I have black tarry stools...

The bottle states that it can cause stomach bleeding which is what I believe is causing the black stools. I am lead to believe since it is printed right on the bottle that this is some what common. Is it? Can this cause a problem in a small post op pouch? Is this something I should worry about? I do know it's only after I take pain killers...and I only do that very conservatively. It only lasts a day or two and things are back to normal. I noticed this the last three times I've taken pain killers over the last two months...so I don't know if this has always happened to me. (I will be avoiding otc pain killers from here out) Since looking into this surgery I have become much more aware of my body and these sorts of things. I'm about a month away from surgery and I will be discussing it with my surgeon..but any input I could get would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!!
