Plastic Surgery- back to work in 7-10- Possible?

Hi folks, I'm scheduled for a mastopexy with implants and an abdominaplasty Sept. 12. I have only taken a one weeks vacation. Surgery is scheduled early Friday morning. I asked the surgeon what the "best case scenerio" would be for time off of my desk job...he said 7-10 days. Of course I'm optomistic that all will go well (despite having a major complication and needing two weeks more than planned for my open RNY). However, even if all goes smooth as glass, is 7-10 pushing it? I understand that you can never really predict these things and will deal with any problems as they arise...but like I said...if all goes to plan can it be done? There are reasons I'd rather not get into as to why I want to limit my time off from work. Any input from those who've done what I'm contemplating doing would be greatly appreciated. Thanks. -Kim open RNY 7/17/01 -145ish
