Slow to non loser pre op

have any of you had this experience? I had surgery (tt) for med. reasons 2 years ago. I had been able to lose 60 or so lbs on atkins and after surgery have not been able to lose ONE pound in 2 years! not for lack of trying! do you think I will lose as quickly as others with wls, or will my screwed up metabolism and inability to lose follow me through the surgery? thanks and bless you all!
