Has anyone had to go through with getting 1yr.suppervised dieting?

Hello. I have appealed 3 times to my ins. company with no luck. They INCIST that i get 1yr med suppervised dieting. So i'll have to try and get approved next october. Has anyone ever been told this? If so, what kind of dieting did you try. I'm afraid that my one year of dieting wont be the kind of dieting they want and deny me again. I'm trying to cut back on calories, drink more water, do moderate exersising, and i check in with my Dr. office once a month! Does it sound like this will be enough? Please help!
