Has anyone got an approval after 2nd appeal letter?

My ins. comp. has denied me twice for not having 1 yr medically supervised dieting. I'm appealing (with my attorny sending the final appeal letter), but this time the appeal is sent to someone who isnt affiliated with my insurance company. If it doesnt work this time then i'll have to go through the 1yr of dieting. Has anyone done an appeal this way? Did anyone get it approved? Thanks, APRIL
