What do you do if you are terrified of the hospital stay?

I have decided to have the surgery. I think I am able to handle the pain. It is the hospital stay I am dreading. I do not like to be touched and I do not like to be out of control. The thoughts of tubes everywhere and feeling exposed, and not wearing any clothes is sometimes too much to think about. Some people tell me that I will be drugged and it won't even bother me....bull! Just the minor stuff is bad enough...but then to have the thoughts of someone bathing me....I don't think so. I will have to stink...anyway, if anyone has thoughts to share with me, or has the same feelings p[lease let me know. Thanks JP
