Can I drink water with protein to get more in?

I am really concerned about my protien intake.I'm 3 weeks post op and not getting nearly enough.Cheese and peanut butter and eggs agree with me, but I'm still not getting even close to 60 grams a day.Protein shakes were okay at first,but now even looking at one disgusts me.Meat is too heavy still.Protein bars I can take in small quantities but only if I drink with it.Is it acceptable to drink with your meals if youre trying to eat more?I'm absolutely exausted, and thinking maybe lack of protein is one reason.
