Anyone who developed an incisional hernia notice gas is more painful?

I don't see a surgeon until Feb 5, but I have at least one and quite possibly two incisional hernias.....by the end of the day, they both are protruding slightly and I have terrible gas pains....has anyone experienced this? I know it may not even be related...was just curious!! Thanx
