Does this sound like reflux?

I had open RNY 7/17 and am transected. Recently I have been getting the old gurgling sensation like I did pre-op that indicated heart burn. It sorta travels up me and produces a burp...just like pre-op when I would have heart burn. It doesn't hurt like it did before, but the sensation is uncomfortable and I've been having this and burping quite a lot the last few days. Is this a common thing? Is this just a phase? I do have bad sinusus and they were infected this past week. I didn't know if this could be related to post nasal drip. Popular belief is that you will no longer expirince reflux post op unless you have a disruption. (That is not my case. I had one two weeks out and when you're transected it becomes obvious quickly.) Has anyone one else expirienced anything like this? What do you take? Tums doesn't seem to do the job. Does it go away? Any input would be greatly appreciated. Thanks -Kim
