Not a question but a tip on Hot Chocolate
I had an Open RNY on 5-8-01. Soon after I tried NO SUGAR ADDED Hot Chocolate. I bought Swiss Miss and it had around 7 grams of sugar. (I try to stay under 12 grams). Anyway, I never really liked the taste of it. A few days ago, after 2.5 years I tried it again. This time I liked it although it did'nt taste quite the same as regular. (Guess I'm more use to going low sugar now). Anyway, for those of you who have been here awhile, you that I add Splenda to my diet pop to take the fizz out and make it taste like regular sugar pop. Well I decided to put a teaspoon of Splenda in my NO SUGAR ADDED Hot Chocolate to see if it would make that taste even better. Sure enough, it tasted AWESOME! I can not believe what a difference "one teaspoon of Splenda" (or any other sweetener) can make in a cup of low sugar hot chocolate. For those of you who enjoy a cup of hot cocco, you might want to try this. It is a wonderful way to get in your water and enjoy a taste that most of us love anyway.
