Will I need as much time off from work for my second surgery?

For my first surgery I had a months worth of paid leave saved up. That surgery was last February. Now I have to have a second surgery due to a staple line distruption. I'm only going to have about 2 1/2 weeks of paid leave and I'd really rather not get into the unpaid thing. My job is totally sit down and I've heard that the second procedure isn't nearly as traumatic. What do you think? Will 2 1/2 weaks be enough?
