Will I be able to use the ski machine in the gym @ work at 2 wks post-op?

In the gym at work there is a ski type machine (it is a cross between a ski and stair stepper with handel bars) just wondering if I should be able to use at 2wks post op..It seems very low impact to me...as a pre-op...
