Has any Kaiser (Northern Ca.) members been approved recently for a DS?

I would like to hear from Kaiser Northern Cal. members who were referred outside of Kaiser to have a DS Procedure performed. I know that Kaiser does the RNY, however I do not feel that this would be the right "tool" for me. I am waiting for an approval(thinking postive), and would like to map out my next plan of attack. A great big "thank you" to everyone on this website who takes the time to share their experiences, it shines light along our path, as we make our journey to the other side.
