Anyone post-op have to have a glucose test done?

My surgeon suspects that I am producing too much insulin. My symtoms are shaking and dizziness and usually have to eat something to feel better. If you had a glucose test done, how did you feel? Did you get sick and nauseaed. This test will be pure sugar and I am not looking forward to it. Any help will be appreciated.
