Anyone more sensitive to pain since WLS?

Eversince my surgery I have been more sensitive to pain. I just went to the dentist to have a root canal and the novacaine was just unbearable. I started to have the shakes and thought I was going to pass out. I don't believe it was from nerves. I have pain medicine and now feel overmedicated. Does anyone have an answer?
