Is it true after Bariatric Sergery we can't absorb Vitiman D?

On the news the other day, they had a report on Bariatric Surgery and not being able to absord vitiman D and our bones turning into swiss cheese! they talked about a Vitiman D that we do absorb but I didn't hear it and I can't find out any information on their wed page! is there anyone out there that knows any information on this matter and the name of the Organic Vitiman D we do absorb? if you have the name of the Vitiman please email me at: [email protected] Thanks!!
